Adrian Armstrong is a creative from Omaha, NE now living and working out of Austin, TX. He received his BFA from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln in 2014. Armstrong’s work explores identity from the modern African American perspective. Through portrait work, Adrian depicts the complexities of blackness, exploring his own experiences and the people around him. His work aims to merge traditional methods with topics such as mental health and uncertainty oftentimes marrying technicality with skewed compositions.
