“We are in difficult times with the COVID-19 pandemic and unfortunately we still have to deal with incidents of Racism, Injustice, Inequality etc. These topics shouldn’t still be an issue in 2020 and that is what the Black Lives Matter movement is about. It’s time to put an end to all of these issues and unite to face bigger problems in the world.”
“As a black artist, it is my duty to reflect the racial Injustice and the black lives matter movement happening in the world today.
The motto is “No Justice, No Peace”, which I have depicted in a painting of Angela Davis, the renown political activist. She once said “I am no longer accepting the things I cannot change; I’m changing the things I cannot accept.”
We have to make changes in the system we live in because we can no longer accept Racism, Injustice and Inequality anymore.”
